What is Keyworker Shared Ownership & Renting?
- Keyworker Shared ownership
Shared ownership for keyworkers operates on the same principles as our general shared ownership scheme, except that it is designated for specific public sector workers, and if you sell or change jobs within a set period of years to a non qualifying one, a proportion of the sale proceeds have to be repaid.

- Keyworker Intermediate renting
For keyworkers who have short term employment contracts, can’t, or don’t want to buy a property just yet, intermediate renting may be the solution.
Intermediate renting means the rents we charge are not the full market rents for properties. Rents, are charged typically at 80% of the market value, for tenancies of a minimum 6 months, which can be extended to several years provided all conditions of tenancies are met and you remain employed in a keyworker profession.
