High Level Involvement

For residents who feel they can offer more time

Residents’ Forum
The Residents’ Forum is the main, formal consultative group for Atlantic’s customers.  Members represent the views and concerns of all Atlantic’s tenants and leaseholders. The group meets every other month at Charlotte Yonge House to consider and approve the Association’s policy making, quality of service and day to day housing management issues. This is not a group for discussing personal issues, but your opportunity to represent all residents and bring common issues to the table for discussion or decision.

A representative from both the Home Owners’ Forum and the Sheltered Housing Forum sits on the group.

Meetings are open to all tenants and leaseholders of Atlantic Housing Limited by invitation. Click here to view the Residents’ Forum meeting dates.

Tenants’ Consultative Group
The TCG comprises residents who sit on the Board of Atlantic Housing Limited, and two co-opted members of the Residents’ Forum, who are chosen for their skills and knowledge and may be rotated as necessary. Members monitor, consider and seek improvement to the performance of Atlantic in improving satisfaction of residents and meeting top quartile across the housing sector.

The TCG meets on a quarterly basis at Charlotte Yonge House.

The chair of the TCG, Jackie Davenport, says: "I see the role of the TCG as a direct link between the Housing Association executive, the Board and the tenants. It is a way of getting direct feedback from resident representatives and bringing it to the attention of the right department."

Resident Board Members
Members of the Residents’ Forum have the opportunity to be nominated to become a member of the Atlantic Housing Limited Board of Management.
